Venison Sausage Pie
Venison Sausage Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pound deer venison sausage
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup onion, thinly chopped
1/3 cup green peppers, chopped
1.5 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tablespoon flour
3/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preparation:
1. Cook venison sausage in skillet. Remove from skillet.
2. Saute’ onion and green pepper in venison fat. Add butter if needed.
3. In mixing bowl, combine cheese, venison, green pepper, and onion.
4. Spread mixture into uncooked pie shell.
5. Mix remaining ingredients and pour into pie shell.
6. Bake in oven on cooking sheet at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
